From Cave to Crayons

Down the back of the sofa, lurking in your children’s school bags and hiding in the bottom drawer of your desk lay the most remarkable invention. An invention thousands of years in the making and one which today is very cheap but had a £75 price tag when it was first invented. It’s possible to buy personalised pens, printed pens and promotional pens very easily today but the first humble ballpoint pen was invented by a Hungarian journalist, Lazlo Biro and developed by a French baron Marcel Bich.
