Recycled Plastic Pencils - Eco Friendly Promotional Gifts
These Recycled Promotional Pencils come in 6 popular colours with HB Lead, silver aluminium ferrule and dark pink eraser as standard.
Single colour printing is possible on the whole range and all printed pencils, with the possible exception of white are supplied sharpened. White Recycled Plastic Pencils can be printed in up to 3 matched colours and are normally supplied unsharpened but an optional sharpening service is available if required.
Conventional Wooden Pencils are manufactured from wooden slats in two halves wihich are glued together and a solid lead is sandwiched between these two layers before final machining.and painting, Invariably, Recycled Pencils made from either plastic or paper use entirely different manufacturing processes. In the case of Plastic Recycled Pencils the polymer body is hot-melt extruded through dies and the graphite lead is co-extruded in liquid form. Shortly after extrusion the solid barrel and lead solidifies resulting in a seamless barrel. The recycled plastic used in our pencils is artificially coloured using virgin pigment so that the final product resembles wooden pencils when sharpened.
Finally, the barrels are painted to the desired colour with ferrules and erasers added at the end.
